ICON Co-Hosts Tour of Innovative and Sustainable Communities

Last week, ICON Architecture collaborated with the Urban Land Institute to co-host a tour of multiple sustainable communities. This day of tours kicked off the organization’s annual conference, and highlighted some of ICON’s most innovative housing projects, including The Distillery North, Maverick Landing and Orient Heights. A second tour encompassed public and private investments in Dudley Square and Jackson Square, highlighting ICON’s work with local Community Development Corporations. ICON prides itself on being a leader of innovation in the housing market, and was delighted to showcase some of the firm’s leading-edge sustainability principles such as Passive House Design, along with other “sensible green” methods of achieving exceptional building performance.
