ICON’s design features contemporary facades with traditional masonry punched openings engage the side streets, while a garden wall with playful bays and balconies enliven long views to and from Boston’s new Rose Kennedy Greenway. A glass pavilion marks the residential entry on Canal Street, and meets the scale of the adjacent historic structure. The 12-story building will house 22,000 SF of desirable ground floor retail space, private parking on the second and third levels, and 320 residential apartments above.
