ICON Architecture

As part of ICON’s work with the City of Cambridge to reduce their municipal building portfolio’s energy and greenhouse gas usage, this project replaces an aging roof trellis with a photovoltaic canopy. The canopy incorporates LED lighting, infrared patio heaters (to extend seasonal usage), and fans. Additionally, the new roof garden incorporates a green wall and outdoor planters. The new deck uses FSC-certified ipe tiles. The roof garden is part of an overall roof replacement project.
